Messages from Graduates
Han Junhong (Singapore)
iU (Information & Management Innovation University)
Since childhood in Singapore, I admired Japanese culture and dreamed of one day studying at a Japanese university. But once I arrived in Japan and began preparing for exams, I keenly felt how hard it was to overcome the language barrier. Every day was a struggle with EJU and JLPT study, but the teachers at Matsudo International Academy always encouraged me warmly and gave me so much support. Aiming for Aoyama Gakuin University, I repeated interview practice again and again, studying 12 hours a day for two months, pushing myself to my limits. Yet the result was an unforgiving rejection. Feeling like everything was collapsing, the thought of returning to Singapore crossed my mind. Even in that hopeless moment, the teachers at Matsudo International Academy never gave up on me and gave me the courage to stand up again. Thanks to their support, I sharpened my Japanese and was able to enter iU. Since enrolling, I have been aiming to start a business in Japan, continuing to walk toward my dream. With gratitude for the wonderful teachers at Matsudo International Academy in my heart, I will keep moving forward.
Pham Mai Linh (Vietnam)
Reitaku University
After graduating high school, I became interested in an international learning environment and decided to study in Japan. I feel very fortunate to have been able to choose such a good Japanese language school. During my year and a half at the school, I was able to have many valuable and wonderful experiences. Thanks to the teachers’ careful guidance and warm support, I am now a first-year student in a university’s international studies department. In the future, I hope to work in a multicultural environment, making the most of my language skills while continuing to grow.
Danda Farras (Indonesia)
Step by step toward my dream — I enrolled to learn Japanese, but I also learned important ways of thinking and communicating for life in Japan. I now work as a company employee in Japan, and I feel that the Japanese and experiences I gained as a student are useful in both my work and daily life. My experience at Matsudo International Academy is a great asset to who I am today. There is still so much to learn, but I want to keep challenging myself in various ways to get one step closer to my dream.
