Message from the Principal
From “Learning Japanese” to “Learning in Japanese”
At Matsudo International Academy, we value “what students can do in Japanese.” Rather than aiming only to pass tests, our approach is to steadily expand what students can accomplish in Japanese through output. Lessons include not only conversation and writing practice, but also plenty of opportunities for presentations and discussions.
We aim for A2–B1 level in the first year and B2 level in the second, developing the Japanese ability needed for university, vocational school, or life in society. Beyond everyday conversation, students think about academic topics, express their own opinions, and engage in discussion with classmates — building the very ability to learn. Cultivating people who can thrive for a lifetime, in further study and in society, is our mission.
